Issue in repeating grid link control in Report Definition

Summary
Report definition has some join tables. When user configures the Report definition as source of Repeat grid, configuring the Link in grid as the property of joining table "Invalid property reference" error is coming.
Error Messages
"** Invalid property reference".
Steps to Reproduce
1) Create a RD with Joining Tables in 'Data-Access' tab (under CLASS JOINS).
2) Create a grid source as this RD
3) In one of the column under grid, include a control 'pxLink', and configure the joining table property as ".pxPage(JOINING_TABLE_NAME).PRPERTY_NAME".
4) Upon saving, you will get an error "** Invalid property reference".
Root Cause
User has not specified the .pxPages(JOINING_TABLE_NAME) in pages and classes tab.
