Issue with report filters

Running the report described from the framework layer returns all descendant classes, but the "available values" only populates with framework values.

Running the same report in the implementation layer returns all objects of that framework and implementation, and the "available values" filters only to the implementation values. Available values does not have filter to the framework class objects.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a report in framework layer with filter criteria. Report Definition (RD) should fetch work object related data and work object table is mapped to implementation class.
2. Enable link to display the report in the harness.
3. Once report definition opens click any one of the filter criteria.
4. Click on "available values" and verify the values displayed.

Root Cause

pzGetAvailableValues is the background activity which is invoked for the "Available Values" filter , which creates an SQL statement that executes & populates the available filter values, and no simple change can be made to it in order to return values from all descendant classes.

Since, this involves change in the major feature of Filter UI and is fixed in Pega 7.2.

It is suggested to upgrade to the higher version 7.2 where the reported behavior is fixed.
