Issue with text area height with Pega 7.1.6

Summary



For a text area with expandable option, the text in the second line of the text area is visible to the user as dotted lines in Internet Explorer (IE).

Error Messages



No error message.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Place a Out-of-the-box (OOTB) text area with an expandable option.
2. At run time observe that some part of the second line is visible.

Root Cause



The height of the text area was not properly calculated.

Resolution



Add the below style:

<style>
textarea.TACOL{height : 15px !important;}
.TextAreaContainer .textAreaExpandStyle{height : auto !important;}
</style>
