Issues in KYC Famework installation (Tables Missing)

SA-3299

Summary

Installed Pega 7.1.6 with split schema SQL Server database. Trying to install the Know Your Customer (KYC) 7.1.2 framework on top of it.  Imported the application bundle as instructed and now trying to run the SQL scripts provided in the media but the scripts are failing.

Error Messages

The object 'dbo.KYC_RULESET_DEF' does not exist or is invalid for this operation.

Steps to Reproduce

Using the database tool of your choice, run the following SQL script files for your database platform (in order). The files are located on the distribution media in the DDL folder:

trKYC_RULETYPE_DEF_DEL.sql
trKYC_RULETYPE_DEF_INS.sql
trKYC_RULETYPE_DEF_UPD.sql
UPDATE_KYC_RULETYPE_DEF.sql

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.  The SQL scripts provided need to be modified to schema qualify the database objects with the appropriate PegaRULES or PegaData schema name.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local change:

Modify the 4 sql files to schema qualify the following objects with your PegaRULES or PegaDATA schema name.

The 3 triggers on the KYC_RULETYPE_DEF table, as well as the table itself, should be in the PegaRULES schema.

The pr4_rule_vw table is in the PegaRULES schema.

If this is a split schema installation the pr_sys_updatescache table is in the PegaDATA schema. For a single schema installation this table would be in the PegaRULES schema.
