JMS Messages accumulates in PRAsyncTopic destination

Summary



Your JVM1 has current JMS message count: 25284 and JVM2 has current JMS message Count: 30000 and it is increasing every minute.

Steps to Reproduce



No steps to reproduce, JMS service displays multiple messages in both App1 and App2.

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment. The WebLogic configuration with Distributed Topic Destination(non-durable) is misconfirgured.

Resolution



This issue is resolved through the following Local-change:

Configuring Time-To-Live (TTL) at the WebLogic Topic destination resolves the problem. After this configuration, messages are removed from the queue by the WebLogic JMS server.
