JMS Service does not Requeue failed Service Requests

Summary



When the Java Message Service (JMS) fails to process, it does not requeue the failed request for another attempt.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure the Java Message Service (JMS).
  2. In the Response tab, add a Response condition (Queue- When) and add a Service Request Processor in the Service tab (as mentioned in the article). When the service fails to process the request, it does not save the record in System-Queue-ExecutionRequest-Service-Default.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



Apply HFix-55495.
