JS Error when sorting is done on CaseNarrative of Audit in IE-8

SA-8634

Summary

JavaScript (JS) error occurs when sorting CaseNarrative of Audit in Internet Explorer 8.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log in to Pega.
2. View the history for any recent approved change.
3. Go to case narrative tab.
4. Click "newest" link provided in the message "showing newest on the top".

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

These grids were not configured properly. Progressive paging will freeze the grid header by default. Grid headers were hidden using inline styles, which directly conflict with this design option.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Perform a SaveAs of pyCaseNarrative Rule of Work-, Pega-EndUserUI:07-10-01 into ruleset.

1. Update the Grid Pagination format from Progressive to Page 1 of X.

2. Update the Header style.
