KM Help site invocation issue from Primary Pega Application



When opening the Knowledge Management (KM) Help site from the KM Portal using the generated java script, it does not open the help site. Instead it opens the existing user session (KM Portal) in a new tab.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the KM Portal and click on the Help menu option.

Root Cause

Not applicable


Perform the following local-change:
  1. Include the Pega Knowledge rulesets (PegaKMPortal and PegaKM) in the application rulestack.
  2. Modify the Help button actions to Open URL in Window with KMDisplayHelpPortal as the activity (Parameters: KMHelpSIteName = URL for help site and Status = Published)
