Label and Tool tips of drop downs are not read in JAWS14 (Accessibility).

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add pxDrodown control in section.
  2. Set Label,placeholder and default value in the control configuration.
  3. Run case with accessibility on.
  4. Observe label and tooltip of dropdown not being read.

Root Cause

A third-party product issue ;-

It is related to JAWS.
It happens outside Pega environment also. If we create a stand alone html page, issue can be seen there too.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
