Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Mixin with background color as Solid - Yellow.
2. Refer the Mixin in a new Style for label.
3. Refer the Style in a Label control in any cell of a section.

Root Cause

The reported behaviour is not supported in out-of-the-box application, it is expected one. Labels have their background colours set to transparent so that it takes the background colour of its parent element (e.g. table cell / dynamic layout).

PRPC help has an explanation in the below link, it is mentioned that additional style need to be used for specifying only CSS related to text styles.

Specify styles:

Add additional styles, specific to styling the text for this element, by specifying a CSS Attribute and Value. Specify only CSS related to text styles. ".

Resolution

The requirement is to change few specific Labels background. Inline style can be used to achieve this.
