Layout and fields display incorrectly on using Internet Explorer

Summary



The layout and fields do not display correctly when using the Internet Explorer browser.


Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an inline grid triple layout
  2. Remove the UI-KIT dependency from the application
  3. Use the Perform harness from the Pega-EndUserUI and run the flow using the Internet Explorer browser

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. In pzpega_ui_doc_lifecycle, the flexResize code was not enabled to process the column layout and grid in flex issue.


Resolution

  1. Apply HFix-42638
  2. Modify the Layout mode of the pyCaseAreaAction and pyconfirmMessage sections to Flex
  3. Modify pyCaseActionArea to use FlowActionHTML_Simple instead of pzActionAreaContent
