Links are not working in IE11

Summary
This user reports links configured with on-click action are not working post upgrade in IE11 but are working as expected in Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Error Messages
Browser console shows pd(event) is undefined error.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Internet Explorer (IE 11.0) browser.
- Login in to the application.
- Click on any link.
Root Cause
A software use or operation error: The harness used had the document mode set to IE=10
Resolution
Changing the document mode to PRPC Default or other and IE=Edge resolved the reported behavior.
