Live UI does not work



After upgrading from PRPC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.8, the live UI button is visible. However, when user clicks it, nothing appears on the right panel. The screen goes in to loading state and the window turns unresponsive.

Steps to Reproduce

Launch a portal and click the Live UI button.

Root Cause

User has a custom JavaScript file due to which the reported behavior was observed.


Remove the custom JavaScript as it breaks the functionality. SA-13019 ( addresses a similar issue with different root cause.
