Not Applicable

  1. Open a case.
  2. Close the browser tab instead of logging off.
  3. Log in as a different operator.
  4. Open the case.

Root Cause

This behavior is as per Pega product  design.

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior.

When the browser window is closed, the requestor session remains active until timeout. That is, the locks are held by the requestor and prevents others from updating the locked objects. The user cannot prevent or detect this in the application. A JavaScript event or function cannot detect the closing of the browser window. Users must click the Log Off link.
