Locks hold on to cases when cases are created on mobile device

Summary



Locks hold on to cases when the cases are created on mobile device. This occurs though the cases are resolved and synced back to the server. Lock errors display on running the post processing manually.
 

Error Messages


 

Cannot obtain lock on instance XXXXXX , as Requestor YYYYYY already has the lock


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new case on the device and run it 
  2. Sync the device
  3. List the cases on the desktop. The status of the case that was completed still displays as 'New'
  4. Trace the activity that updates the case status. It fails as it is unable to procure the lock on the work object


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



This issue is scheduled to be resolved in Pega 8.3.
