Log in with second user displays details of first logged in user

Summary



Logging in to a shared iOS 9 or 10 device between two users displays the portal for the user who has logged in first, despite authenticating a different user.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Login with operator A. Portal loads with details of A
  2. Log out
  3. Log in with operator B. Portal loads with details of A instead of B


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. In certain configurations, SMSession cookies were duplicated due to iOS hybrid client code that was responsible for cookie synchronization between native implementation and WKWebView.


Resolution

Re-build the mobile hybrid client with version 7.31.4.22 or above.
