Login URL contains an extra word

User performs a Save As of the Authentication Service Rule form and reimports the Identity Provider (IdP) metadata due to missing tabs issue. However, the new Login URL contains an extra word, PRAuth, after the import. The issue occurs post upgrading Pega 7.3.1 to Pega 8.3.1.

Steps to Reproduce

Root Cause

The base SAML implementation is changed to use PRAuth processing in Pega 7.4. This changes the Login URL to /PRAuth/<service_alias>.

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior: Performing a Save As of the SAML AuthService rule changes the implementation to use PRAuth since it is the new default for the SAML Authentication.

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Use another older PRCustom SAML implementation (For example, /sso).
  2. Modify the existing record if any changes are required
