Marketing Campaign not creating BatchOut table

Summary



Execution of a Campaign in the Pega Marketing portal is failing. The log has an error indicating that the Batchout table is not created.

Error Messages



Critical

Failed to execute the batch Data Flow for this Campaign.

Suspend and Update the campaign to resolve this issue. After updating, you can Restart or Skip this run.


Steps to Reproduce



Create a new campaign and run it.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment where the history table for a Strategy Result class was not present in the database.  This appears to have been due to the way the Strategy Result related classes were moved into the system.

Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment:  Manually create the missing history table.

This was a rules migration error; there was a history class included in the R-A-P that the customer should have excluded.
