Max tab limit not reached, system prompted message in CS 7.22



The message is prompted before the number of open tabs in Interaction portal reached the maximum limit mentioned in CPMInteractionPortalWorkArea.

Error Messages

"You have reached the maximum limit of open tabs"

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Modify the CPMInteractionPortalWorkArea and mention the maximum number of tabs as 6.
  2. Create two Interactions with one intent task each.
  3. Create the third Interaction and try to add intent task, the message would be prompted.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules:
The system considers the intent tasks addition also as a tab count.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

For each tab and each intent task an iframe is generated and system counts the number of iframe here to verify if the limit is reached.

Set the tab count considering how many Interactions that would be working at a time and how many Intent tasks can be under any Interaction. The maximum value that can be set is 16.​
