MCOM Document attachment allows all formats

When selecting files to attach to send to Mastercard (MC) for a MasterCom (MCOM) case, there is no validation or criteria to stop the selection of files whose format is not allowed.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a case.
  2. Process to the Chargeback stage with the reason code which requires documentation.
  3. Upload the file in a format that is not allowed (such as, .txt, .png and so on).
  4. Click Submit to send files. The case advances to the next stage. Verify MCOM. Files are not attached within MCOM.

Root Cause

Due to the zipping of files prior to transmission, this returns an 'OK' response from MC instead of an error message. However, the files are not attached to the case within the MC. This results in a difference between Smart Dispute and MCOM with no ability to resend files from Smart Dispute.
