Summary

Menus (My Views, My Notification, External Links, Recent Claims) configured on the top panel does not work when clicked.
Issue occurs only after the 'Work Object already open' pop-up is dismissed by either clicking Yes or No; otherwise the behavior works fine.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure workarea and open any work object (WO).
2. Try to open the same WO again from WO, it shows the 'Work Object already open' pop-up.
3. Dismiss it by clicking Yes or No.
4. Now navigate back to the top panel and click the menus, none of them work.

Root Cause

The root cause is the usage of workarea deprecated control in Pega 7.

Resolution

Redesign your portal to use Dynamic Container functionality which is the recommended approach in Pega 7.
