Menu is not displayed due to special character in data transform

Summary
Menu is not displayed because of special characters like dot used in the data transform.
Error Messages
The screen freezes and user is not able to take any further action on the work object.
Steps to Reproduce
1.Log into Application.
2.Click on Actions menu in Work Object. The screen freezes.
Root Cause
Not able to pass value with .(dot) to a data transform which is used in refresh section
Resolution
Apply HFix-25482.
