Menu styles are missing in mobile view of the page

Summary



User has configured a Menu control and defined a format in skin.

After the page view is changed to mobile view, the styles defined in skin are not reflected.


Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Navigation.
  2. Configure Menu control with navigation.
  3. Set Presentation of Menu as Horizontal.
  4. Change the view to mobile view or Resize the browser to apply responsiveness.


Root Cause



A software use or operation error.

User implementation fault. When user resizes browser or switches to the mobile view, the menu becomes menu items by showing a bread crumb icon on the left. Hence, menu becomes menu items.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change steps:

1. Open Skin.
2. Go to Menu formats.
3. Go to Menu items tab.
4. Redefine the skin format for menu items.
