Summary
Getting Java null pointer exception when user tries to perform a button click that has when condition configured which is using references.
Error Messages
Uncaught ReferenceError: deferredFieldValues
Steps to Reproduce
1. Log into Mobile application (Pega 7 IOS).
2. Click on opportunities from the launch pad.
3. Select any opportunity from the list.
4. Click create Quote button.
5. Try to select contract terms or sites.
Root Cause
Since the reference in when is similar to one direct input, this fails because they have different load context. So there is an exception in getExpressionMetadata
Resolution
Apply HFix-28725.
