Modal dialogs from tables do not allow to choose a skin format

Launch local action allows to choose a modal format, but List/open local action does not. Out of the box we have two methods to open a local action but both are not having the same options.

This is inconsistent and selecting a modal format, when the local action is launched from a repeating, is impossible.

Error Messages

No error message presented, but the format of the MODAL isn’t the one expected.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a SECTION using inline grid double

  1. Create a SECTION with a repeating grid to call previously created SECTION

  1. At runtime if the MODAL is small, it is working fine.

  1. But if you change the SECTION to have a large MODAL

  1. At runtime the double presentation is lost

Root Cause

The two methods to open a local action have never been created to be identical and while this might change in the future, the system is currently working as designed.

The double layout presentation could be automatically re-formatted depending on many criteria such as calculation of the width, pictures too large to display correctly or labels too long on the screen.

A few local changes are possible depending on the scenario. Here, it has been decided to uncheck the option called “Set layout width to Auto” on the dynamic layouts inside the MODAL.
