Root Cause

The required MQ jar files were missing.

Resolution

For MQ 7, You need to do the below:

1) Import the below MQ 7 jars (You can find those jars from MQ installation – contact your MQ admin and they may be able to provide you):

com.ibm.mq.jmqi.jar
com.ibm.mq.jar
com.ibm.mq.pcf.jar
com.ibm.mq.headers.jar
com.ibm.mq.commonservices.jar
connector.jar

by using PRPC. Application / Import / Import

OR, option (2) below

2)
Add above jars in a websphere shared library picked up at runtime by the PRPC EAR.
