Multi select control and drag and drop transfer comb issue

Summary



User has two multiselect control in the UI. The user select the values from the multiselect controls and click on Search. On Search action, based on the selection from the multiselect lists, a grid is populated with data(rows). 



Now when the user tries to drag and drop a row from the populated grid, to some other workbasket, it does not happen. Instead they get the below message:




Also, in the logs, users get a Wrong Mode Expection error.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a section with MultiSelectList 
2. Configure the MultiSelectList control to populate list of values 
3. Embedded this section in OOTB CaseManager portal 
4. Launch CaseManager Portal 
5. Now drag and drop a value from the grid into another workbasket


Root Cause



Wrong Mode exception occurs for the String list property as the list definition is not looked up before making the call to remove method.

Resolution



Apply HFix-25465.
This hotfix will check the lookup the property mode in the dictionary before trying to remove the property using a symbolic delete. This way, if the property mode is unknown before the delete, the mode becomes known in the lookup and there is no wrong mode exception thrown.​
