Multiple issues occur in the Tracer



The following issues occur in the Tracer in the production environment:
  • Unable to pause the Tracer
  • Unable to change the options in Settings
  • Unable to open the Parameter page and local variables in View variables which are used
  • Unable to see the Fail Message in the step page when it is opened
  • Breakpoints and Watch features are disabled

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the application
  2. Open the Tracer and search a case numberTracer contains the set of steps which are executed
  3. Attempt to debug the issue

Root Cause

A software use or operation error. In production, all the options in the Tracer were disabled, except the Play option. Additionally, security privileges for the access group to which the users belonged was missing. 


Perform the following local-change:

Add the 
TraceOptionsBasic and TraceOptionsAdvanced privileges for the access class @baseclass in the user access group.
