MultiSelect IE8 (Un)Select ALL not working with PegaSurvey

Summary
In Internet Explorer (IE) 8, when using a multi-select checkbox within a PegaSurvey question, it is observed that the top level checkbox does not update the other checkbox values.
The behavior works correctly on IE 9 and 10

Steps to Reproduce
- Open a survey and toggle the top checkbox in IE 8.
- Observe no change in other checkboxes.
- Open a survey and toggle the top checkbox in IE 9.
- Observe all the other checkboxes mirror the top checkbox.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. IE8 renders the complex question with an additional <div> HTML tag which is not handled correctly by the pegasurvey_script JS rule.
Resolution
This issue is resolved by HFix-23305.
