New data model properties not visible on Data Model tab



After updating cases and adding new properties, a package is created to migrate the modifications made. After the migration,  these properties are added to a class. However, the properties do not display on the Data Model tab of the cases.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Edit a case.
  2. Add new properties.
  3. Package the changes.
  4. Migrate the package to a new system.
  5. Navigate to Records > Data Model > Properties. Properties are created and associated to the class.
  6. Navigate to Case and select a case.
  7. Click Data Model. Properties do not display.

Root Cause

Only those properties which are marked as Relevant records display on the Data Model tab of a case.


Perform the following local-change to view the properties in the Data Model tab:

Mark the properties as Relevant records.
