"Next" button is not enabled and disabled correctly

Summary



When a modal dialog is launched from second from the last row of a repeat grid, validation error causes the "Next" button to be disabled.  

User is stuck on the modal dialog and cannot move to the next, that is the last row.

Also, when the modal dialog is launched from the last row of a repeat grid, validation error causes the "Next" button to be erroneously enabled.

​Clicking on the 'Next' causes endless busy indicator.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Configure a repeat grid.
2. On one of the columns configure a Edit button.
3. On click of button launch a local action in a modal dialog.
4. Launch modal action from the penultimate row (last but one row).

    "Next" button is enabled by default. Cause a "validation" error to happen on the modal dialog. The "Next" button is now erroneously disabled.
5 . Launch this local action from the last row.

    "Next" button is disabled by default. Cause a "validation" error to happen on the modal dialog. The "Next" button is now erroneously enabled.
 


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules caused the issue.
 

Resolution



Apply HFix-30764.
