no scroll bars for gridcolumns of screen when resized

Summary
An external application is used to launch a harness via IAC. The harness is embedded with a grid whose data source is report definition.
When the window is resized, user is unable to navigate through all the columns of the grid as the vertical & horizontal scrollbars do not appear.
Error Messages
Not Applicable.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Configure IAC and launch a harness through IAC
2. Embed a work area or dynamic containerin the section and refer the section in the harness configured above.
3. In harness configured in work area, refer a section pxlocalaction and give the required parameters like action name (flow action)
4. In the flow action refer a section which contains the grids
Root Cause
The browser is set to compatible mode and the Document mode is forced to use Standard.
Resolution
This is an expected behavior with the combination of Internet Explorer setting used.
