Summary
Nodes do not display on the AES Manager portal.
Error Messages
In Tomcat application server logs:
AsyncAppender-ALERT-ASYNCAES ERROR SOAPAppender _append() failed: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The XMLInputFactory does not recognize the property "reuse-instance".
Steps to Reproduce
Log in to the AES Manager portal.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.
The application server type is Tomcat. Pega application uses IBM JRE which is unsupported for Windows Sever and Tomcat configuration.In this usecase, the Axiom libraries in use by the application are not compatible with the IBM runtime environment.
Resolution
Make the following change to the operating environment:
It is recommended to reserve the use of IBM JVM for the WebSphere application server.
- Update the VM systems to use a supported ORACLE JRE for the appropriate Pega application version.
- Ensure that JAVA_HOME for the Tomcat instances use this JRE.
