Not able to Discard checkouts on Flow Rules in the Tenant layers



When user does a private edit of a flow rule in the tenant layer and discard that rule, it seems to be discarded from the front end, but their entries still remain in the “pr4_rule_file_binary” table and “pwbv4_rule_locking” table. Hence, when they try to do a Private Edit on the same rule again, they see the below error.

**Check out failed. A checked out version with the same keys already exists. Please check-in that record first.

Steps to Reproduce

Do a private edit of a flow rule in the tenant layer.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules: BUG-174655.


This issue is resolved by hotfix item: HFix-10367.
