Not able to format the text in corespondence/paragraph rule

Summary



Unable to format the dynamic values in correspondence or paragraph rule.  User is trying to include page list property in correspondence rule and format it as bold or italic. However, the selected property reference is getting disappeared.

Error Messages



No error message. Value is not getting formatted.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create correspondence rule.
2. Add the following text "This is used for testing "
3. Insert a property after that text with source from page list as follow "pagelistproperty(1).propertyname" (Example:Bond(1).Amount)
4. Select the word "testing" in the entered text and make it bold or italics,  this gets formatted.
5. Select the property reference "pagelistproperty(1).propertyname" and make it bold or italics.

Now the selected property reference will get disappeared.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Selecting the page list property and formatting it will make that property reference disappear.

Resolution



Select the format (bold/italics) prior to inserting the page list property then the property will appear as bold/italic for dynamic values.
