Null pointer from PropertyDataPageWrapper.prContainsKey()

Summary



When an auto-populate property is referenced by the getIfPresent() method, and that property refers to another property data page which has been removed, an NullPointerException (NPE) is produced by the PropertyDataPageWrapper.prContainsKey() method.

Error Messages




com.pega.pegarules.pub.PRRuntimeException: exception caught during invocation of PRObjectWrapperExtended.prContainsKey() for Property . Message: exception caught during invocation of PRObjectWrapperExtended.prContainsKey() for Property . Message: null



Steps to Reproduce



Attempt to auto-populate a property from a tertiary (or greater) data page after that data page has been removed from the clipboard.

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. 



Resolution



This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFix-10362.
