NullPointer exception on checking in a declare expression

Summary



User checks out a declare expression. Error occurs on saving and checking in the expression. The issue occurs with the expression which contains a When rule or the "Property exists and as a value" function.
 

Error Messages



Save failed: Java Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException
 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a declare expression with a When rule or function
  2. Save the rule
  3. Check out the rule
  4. Save the rule
  5. Check in the rule 


Root Cause



Null handling for property is not present in the EMBED-USERFUNCTION.PZCOPYHTMLPROPVALUE activity.

Resolution



Apply HFix-49322.
