NullPointerException occurs on clicking the Back button

Summary
In a screenflow during case processing, NullPointerException occurs on clicking the Next button to progress to the next screen and subsequently clicking the Back button to return to the previous screen.
Error Messages
NullPointerException in SafeURL.put(key,value) {FieldError}, {undefined}
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a screenflow.
- Click the Next button to navigate to the next screen.
- Click the Back button to return to the previous screen.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules.
The section in the Perform harness is corrupted.
Resolution
As a local-change, recreate the section.
