NullPointerException occurs when extracting 0 instances

Summary



NullPointerException occurs when data eligible for extraction does not exist in the database. This occurs when running the Extract rule or pxExtractDataWithArgs from an Agent on a DB2 UDB database.

Unable to process Your-Work-Case: null
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.access.ExtractImpl.doExtract(ExtractImpl.java:1587)
at com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.access.ExtractImpl.runExtract(ExtractImpl.java:1141)
at com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.access.ExtractImpl.init(ExtractImpl.java:871)



Steps to Reproduce



Run the extract.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



Apply HFix-41298.
