Numbers repeat in Y-Axis for Report Definition Graph

Summary



The numbering on the Y-Axis of Report Definition graphs is incorrect when there is only one result. It lists 0 twice and 1 three times.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a report definition that displays a count of cases.
  2. Use Chart tab to select count on Y-Axis.
  3. Select Number format option to Number
  4. Select Decimal places to Auto.
  5. Create a case and run the report definition.



Root Cause



Charts round off the labels if the values displayed are small.


Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
If the numbers are always small, set the minimum value that is used for the Y-Axis upper bound.

1. Open the report.
2. Use Chart tab to select count on Y-Axis.
3. Set Maximum value to 5. This controls the upper bound of the Y-axis.
