OAuth2 failing to generate access token (Office 365 SharePoint)

Summary



When user clicks on Connect button to generate the authorization code and subsequently an access token, It will load the Office 365 sharepoint login page.

After logging in with credentials provided in the document , a pop-up will be displayed to trust the application.

Once user clicks on 'Trust It', a page will be displayed with an authorization code in the address bar along with an error on page.

​The authorization process is getting stopped here and is failing to continue to generate an access token.


Error Messages



"The XXXXXXXXX page isn't working"

Steps to Reproduce



1) Create Test Case.
2) Click Connect.
3) Provide Office 365 share point credentials.
4) Click Trust It. Error page is displayed.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules, ClientId is passed in URL twice even though clientid and authId are same.

Resolution



Apply HFix-30167.
