Obj-Browse error: ORA-00972: identifier is too long

Summary



An activity performing an Obj-Browse fails with an error.

Error Messages



Status: fail
Message: There was a problem getting a list: code: 972 SQLState: 42000 Message: ORA-00972: identifier is too long

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use the Obj-Browse method on a class where a property is being saved on an embedded page and the length of the fully-qualified property name is more than 30 characters.

Root Cause



This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.

Resolution



An enhancement request (FDBK-14012) has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
