Is Office 2016 compliant with PRPC 6.2 SP2

Summary
User requires to know if it is possible to use Microsoft Office 2016 with PRPC 6.2 SP2 for Microsoft Word generation.

Steps to Reproduce
Create a word document from a template in PRPC 6.2 SP2.
Root Cause
Office 2016 is not supported in PRPC 6.2 or 6.3 versions.
User is requesting for an old version of PRPC to support an office version which was released when Pega 7.2 was released.
With PRPC 6.2 SP2 user works using ActiveX components and not Silverlight which is how Pega 7.x works with MS Word.
It is recommended to upgrade Pega version as soon as possible.
Resolution
As per the Platform Support Guide listed on the PDN the only supported versions of MS Office with PRPC 6.2 SP2 are Office 2003, 2007 and 2010.
