Summary
Old rules are picked up at run time after deploying new rules to the production environment. This issue is sporadic and does not occur after every deployment.

Steps to Reproduce
Deploy rules to the production environment.Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
There is a known race condition during the import that can result in this issue.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change step:
Add the following setting to the prconfig.xml files and restart the servers:
< env name="systempulse/scanoffsetms" value="60000" />
Note: The setting can also be applied as a dynamic system setting.
