Out-of-the-box pzRuleSet_DateTime Control does not work



Out-of-the-box Pega control pzRuleSet_DateTime does not work properly. pzRuleSet_RuleSetVersionDetails section uses pzRuleSet_DateTime control in Effective Start Date field. The control takes DisplayMode parameter with Type for SmartPrompt as Rule-Obj-FieldValueDisplayMode is not displayed as a dropdown when trying to configure it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch pzRuleSet_RuleSetVersionDetails section under Pega-SystemArchitect: 07-10-01.
  2. Open the Cell Properties of Effective Start Date field.
  3. Configure DisplayMode.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Perform the following local-change:
Save the field values corresponding to DateTime-DateTimeFormat type of Rule-HTML-Property class into @baseClass.
