In Panel Set, the center panel does not display the General tab

SA-12490

Summary

For a Panel set, the center panel does not display the General tab. However, for header and footer, the general tab is displayed. In such a case, how is the center panel's height set?

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Harness and add a Panel Set layout.
2. The center panel does not display the general tab properties. This does not allow setting the height.

Root Cause

This is an expected behavior. The Pega Developer Help guide (search for Panel set > Harness form Completing the Layout tab - Adding a panel set > Edit the harness panel's properties panels) states the following:
To set the height of the center Panel, set the height of the section (or the controls within it) that is mapped to the Center Panel.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local-change:

Set the height on the section (or the controls within it) that is mapped to the Center panel.
