Summary

In the Pega Client for Windows, on using a data transform with parameters and clicking a button on which 'Run Data Transform' action is configured, the screen hangs.

Error Messages

|DEBUG|Main|expression: param.Name, is: undefined
|DEBUG|Main|expression: getValue: param.Name

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a data transform with parameter
2. Create a button and configure action "Run Data transform" 
3. Execute the flow in Pega Client for Windows.
4. Click the button.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The 'param' is used to refer the Parameter page to obtain values from Properties. This is not supported for Offline enabled case types. Hence, the 'Parameter page is not supported for offline enabled case types' whether the case is online or offline.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Obtain the value from the pyWorkPage to avoid using the Parameter page.
