Parent flow does not resume after subflow ends

When flow reaches end shape process, subflow stops. Parent flow does not resume in PRPC 6.1 SP2.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create work object and finish subflow.
  2. On going back to parent flow, it is not resuming again

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. On debugging it is found that the pyFirstRun on the pxFlow of the pyWorkPage is not set to false in the flowmethodbody RUF.

Apply HFix-25257 to resolve issue and complete the following additional steps:

Note: This hoffix updates a rule utility function (RUF) which is sometimes used during first use assembly (FUA) of flows.

These are the two steps:

1) Use System Management Application Administration > Rule Utility Library Extractor.
2) Click the Extract Libraries button to rebuild the Utility Function libraries to get the updated RUF in use.

Note: Any Flow action which displays the misbehavior must have Revalidate and Save done to force FUA.
