Parse XML rule form issue in IE11

Summary




When a Parse XML rule form is displayed in the 6.3 SP1 Designer Studio, if an "element" is double-clicked the popup to edit the various fields doesn't display if the developer is using IE11, even if the have compatibility mode enabled - it works fine on my IE9 system.

Steps to Reproduce



Open a Parse XML Rule when using IE11 browser and double-click an "element" field


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment.



Resolution



The explanation for this behavior is as follows:
According to the platform support guide:

IE 11 is not a supported browser version for developers in PRPC 6.3 sp1

IE 11 is supported in Pega 7.1.5.

As such, the customer will use IE 9.
