Password Lockout in security policies does not work correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to the Designer Studio > System > Settings > Security Policies.
  2. Set the security policies as below.

    Enable authentication lockout penalty mechanism - Disabled
    Failed login attempts before password lockout - 3
    Password lockout duration in minutes - 0

  3. Log in from one operator and enter an incorrect password thrice.
  4. Refresh the browser
  5. Log in with same operator and enter the correct password.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error: User configuration issue.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

Remove zero from the Password lockout duration in minutes option.
